The house – exteriors

The house is a 1950’s house built farmhouse style with added gables and roses round the door. Although not a period property it has a weathered, rustic feel and sits in the middle of its 1 acre garden with far reaching views all around.

The house – interiors

Spacious rooms with plenty of light, some of which can be used as a production office or for hair and makeup. Views from the upper windows across water meadows.

 The main garden

Established well stocked garden with plenty of trees, pergolas and nooks and crannies. Extra plants can be dressed in.

 Orchard/kitchen garden

A greenhouse and several vegetable patches plus a fruit cage. Views across the fields.

 The river frontage

There is river frontage on 3 sides, the Burstow stream and the river Mole. An Ox bow bend at the back of the house and a jetty for boating and fishing.

Outbuildings, barns, huts and sheds

World War 2 pillboxes. There are two of these, one in woodland with a gun emplacement, with space for a camera crew. The other is situated in the back field and suitable for exteriors.

The fields

All the fields have river frontage, hedges and trees.

Parking

The first field has plenty of room for parking and has been used for weddings, shoots, rehearsals and parties.
